This policy explains the cookies and browser storage that Petalab Inc. ("we" or the "Company") uses on Yapee. For our overall handling of personal information, see the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser and that are sent back to the server on later visits. Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) stays in your browser and is not sent to the server automatically.
2. Cookies we use
We use only cookies that the Service needs to work. We do not use advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking or social media cookies.

3. Browser storage
The following is kept only in your browser and is not sent to our servers.
- Your screen theme (light, dark or system)
- Which notices you have already seen
- A signal telling other tabs that the signed-in account has changed
- Request IDs and unsent text (such as a support message draft) that prevent the same request from being processed twice if your connection drops
Data in sessionStorage is removed when you close the tab. Data in localStorage remains until you clear it.
4. Third-party cookies
- We do not add third-party scripts for advertising or analytics.
- Once payments or adult verification are available, the payment provider (Toss Payments) or the verification service (PortOne) is loaded only when you use that feature. These companies may set cookies on their own domains under their own policies.
- Vercel, which delivers our website, handles cookies while passing requests through but does not set tracking cookies for us.
5. How to refuse or delete cookies
You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings.
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies or Site data
- Safari: Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
If you block essential cookies, most of the Service, including sign-in and posting, will not work. If you delete the language cookie, the display language is chosen again from your browser's language settings.
6. Changes and contact
If our use of cookies changes, we will update this policy and let you know in the Service. Before introducing any advertising or analytics cookies, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it. Contact us at help@ypee.ai.
