- We will post the effective date, the changes and the reason for them at least 7 days in advance. For changes that are material or unfavorable to you, we will post them at least 30 days in advance and also notify you through an in-service notification or another method you can check.
- If you do not agree to the amended Terms, you may stop using the Service and close your account.
Article 5 (Related policies)
- The Privacy Policy, Usage Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy and Partner Program Terms form part of these Terms. Where a specific policy conflicts with these Terms, the specific policy applies to that feature.
- Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by applicable law and general commercial practice.
Article 6 (Agreement and eligibility)
- The agreement is formed when you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy, apply for an account, and we accept the application.
- The Service is for adults. You must be at least 19 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
- Some features, including conversations, adult-rated works and payments, require completion of our adult verification process.
- We may refuse an application, or terminate an agreement already formed, if:
- you use another person's name or details, or provide false information;
- you do not meet the age requirement;
- you were previously restricted for violating these Terms or the Usage Policy; or
- the application is made for a purpose prohibited by law.
Article 7 (Your account)
- You are responsible for keeping your username and password secure. You may not transfer or lend your account.
- If you learn that your account has been compromised or is being used by someone else, change your password immediately and contact support.
- We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to protect your account or by your permitting someone else to use it, unless we are at fault.
Article 8 (Personal information)
We protect your personal information in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to external sites that are merely linked from the Service.
Article 9 (Our obligations)
- We comply with applicable law and these Terms and work to provide the Service continuously and reliably.
- If we find your opinion or complaint justified, we handle it within a reasonable period. If it will take longer, we tell you why and when to expect a response.
- If the Service fails, we restore it without delay unless there is an unavoidable reason.
Article 10 (Your obligations)
- You must comply with these Terms, the Usage Policy and applicable law.
- You may not do any of the following. Detailed standards are in the Usage Policy.
- Use another person's account, identity or payment method without permission, or bypass adult verification.
- Sexualize minors or characters who appear to be minors.
- Sexually depict real people without consent, or infringe another person's privacy, copyright, likeness or reputation.
- Create or distribute illegal content, extreme violence, content encouraging self-harm or suicide, or hate speech.
- Disable AI safety measures through prompt manipulation or attempt to extract system information.
- Access the Service or send excessive requests through bots, crawlers, scrapers or other automated means.
- Copy, reverse engineer or resell our source code, models or APIs without authorization.
- Trade or cash out Credits or accounts in ways we do not permit.
- Exploit errors or vulnerabilities for improper gain.
Article 11 (Nature of the AI service)
- The characters you talk to on the Service are AI, not people. AI Output is fiction. We do not guarantee that it is true, accurate or complete.
- AI Output is not medical, legal, financial, psychological or other professional advice. Consult a qualified professional before making important decisions.
- If you or someone else is at risk of harm, stop the conversation and contact local emergency services right away. In Korea, call 112 or 119, or the suicide prevention line 109. In the United States, call or text 988.
- AI Output depends on your input and settings, and we do not review every response before it is shown. We take reasonable measures, such as building safety rules into model instructions and reviewing reports, to reduce output that violates the Usage Policy.
- To generate AI responses, we send the necessary parts of your input, character settings and earlier conversation to external AI model providers. See Third-Party Service Providers for the providers involved.
Article 12 (User Content and license)
- You keep the rights to the User Content you create. You must have the rights needed to upload it.
- You grant us a free, non-exclusive license to store, reproduce, adapt, transmit and display your User Content to the extent needed to operate, improve and promote the Service. Characters and Works you publish publicly are shown to other users and used in their conversations.
- We do not sell your User Content outside the Service or use it to train our own AI models without your separate consent.
- The license ends when you delete the content. When you close your account, your public Characters and Works become private and are no longer shown to other users. The Privacy Policy explains what remains after closure and how to request deletion.
- Whether copyright or other rights arise in AI Output, and whether you hold exclusive rights in it, is governed by applicable law and is not guaranteed by us. You may use AI Output you receive within the limits of applicable law and these Terms.
- Rights in the Service's design, software, trademarks and content we create belong to us or their rightful owners.
Article 13 (Infringement reports and takedown)
- If you believe your copyright, likeness, personal information or other rights have been infringed, email help@ypee.ai with a description of the infringement and supporting evidence to request removal.
- On receiving a request, we temporarily hide or remove the content in accordance with applicable law and notify the poster, giving them an opportunity to object.
Article 14 (Provision and changes of the Service)
- Unless there are special circumstances, we provide the Service 24 hours a day, every day. We may suspend it temporarily for maintenance, failures or reasons on the part of external providers, with advance notice where possible.
- We may change or discontinue parts of the Service for operational or technical reasons. We will give 30 days' notice of changes or discontinuation that affect paid services, and handle remaining Paid Credits under the Refund Policy.
Article 15 (Paid services and Credits)
- You may purchase Credits using the payment methods we offer. The quantity, price including VAT, and validity period of each package are shown on the purchase screen.
- Paid Credits are valid for the period shown on the purchase screen. Packages currently listed are valid for 1 year from receipt. Credits already purchased keep the validity period shown at the time of purchase. Free Credits can be used only within the period announced when they are granted.
- Credit usage depends on the AI model and response settings, and the required amount is shown before each request. A number of Credits does not represent a fixed number of messages.
- Credits can be used only in the purchasing account. Except through the gift and support features we provide, they cannot be transferred to another account, and they cannot be exchanged for cash. Credits received as gifts or support are granted as Free Credits. Gifts and support carry a fee set by us. The fee and the validity period of the Credits the recipient receives are shown before you send. Recurring payments or automatic top-ups happen only if you separately sign up for them.
- If a request fails, Credits are either not deducted or restored after we confirm the result.
- Until payment services are connected, you can only view package information; no order or charge is created.
Article 16 (Cancellation and refunds)
- If you have not used any Paid Credits from a purchase, you may cancel it within 7 days of purchase for a full refund.
- After 7 days, or if you have used part of a purchase, you may still request a refund of your unused Paid Credits. We handle these requests under the Refund Policy and applicable law.
- If you cannot use Paid Credits because of our fault, we will fully refund the unused portion regardless of the purchase date, or compensate you with Credits of equal value.
- Free Credits are not refundable.
- Detailed procedures and timelines are in the Refund Policy. Neither these Terms nor the Refund Policy limit consumer rights guaranteed by law.
Article 17 (Termination and restrictions)
- You may terminate the agreement at any time through the in-service account closure feature or by contacting support. However, you cannot close your account while you have Paid Credits, a refund in progress, an active automatic top-up, creator cash not yet paid out, or an AI response still being generated. Request a refund, cancellation or payout first, or wait for the generation to finish. Free Credits are removed when the account is closed.
- If you violate these Terms or the Usage Policy, we may, depending on the severity, hide or delete content, restrict certain features, suspend your use for a set period, or terminate the agreement. We will tell you the action taken and the reason. If we terminate the agreement, we refund your remaining Paid Credits under the Refund Policy. Where your violation caused us loss, we may deduct that amount to the extent permitted by law.
- If we receive a report that an account has been compromised, or reasonably suspect a serious violation, we may suspend use until our review is complete. If no violation is found, we will extend the validity of your Paid Credits by the suspended period.
- You may appeal an action within 30 days by emailing help@ypee.ai. We will notify you of the outcome.
Article 18 (Liability)
- If we or you breach these Terms and cause loss to the other, the breaching party is liable for that loss, unless it was not caused intentionally or negligently.
- We are not liable for failure to provide the Service due to force majeure, such as natural disasters, network outages or failures of external providers.
- We are not obliged to intervene in disputes between users, or between users and third parties, that arise through the Service, and are not liable for resulting losses unless we are at fault.
- Unless applicable law provides otherwise, we are not liable in connection with features provided free of charge. This does not apply to losses caused by our intent or gross negligence.
Article 19 (Notices)
We notify Members through in-service notifications or through contact details a Member has given us when contacting support. Notices to all Members may be made by posting on the Service for at least 7 days.
Article 20 (Governing law and disputes)
- These Terms and your use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live continue to apply.
- We will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith through support. If that fails, you may apply for mediation to the Korea Content Dispute Resolution Committee or a similar body.
- Lawsuits are filed with the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
- This English version is provided for convenience. If it conflicts with the Korean version, the Korean version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
Supplementary provision
These Terms take effect on October 18, 2026.
