Usage Policy

This Usage Policy sets out the specific rules for using Yapee under our Terms of Service and the actions we take when they are broken. Yapee is a service where adults create stories with AI characters, and these rules help everyone create and chat safely.

1. Scope

This policy applies to everything created or uploaded on the Service, including character and work settings, opening messages, images and audio, chat inputs, AI responses, comments, profiles, reports and support messages. It applies whether content is public or not, including private works and one-on-one conversations.

2. Account rules

• Use only your own account. Do not sell or lend it.
• Do not use another person's identity or bypass adult verification.
• Do not impersonate us, our staff, other users, or real people or organizations.
• Do not create multiple accounts to collect more rewards or event benefits.

3. Prohibited content

The following content is prohibited regardless of rating or visibility.

Protecting minors

• Content that sexualizes minors or characters who appear to be minors
• Sexual content featuring characters who suggest minors through student status, childlike appearance, speech or similar traits
• Content that glorifies or promotes child abuse or crimes against children

All characters in works with sexual elements must be clearly established as adults. Content suspected of being child sexual exploitation material is removed immediately and reported to the relevant authorities.

Sexual content

• Explicit depictions of sexual acts that are obscene under applicable law
• Content that glorifies or promotes non-consensual sex, sexual violence or sexual exploitation
• Sexual depictions of real people
• Content that arranges or solicits prostitution

Violence and dangerous activities

• Content whose purpose is extremely graphic cruelty
• Content that promotes or helps plan terrorism, mass violence or real-world violence
• Instructions for making or obtaining weapons, explosives, drugs or similar items
• Content that encourages self-harm or suicide or describes methods

Hate and harassment

• Content that incites discrimination or violence based on race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, sexual orientation, disability, religion, regional origin or similar characteristics
• Content that harasses, threatens or insults a specific person

Rights and privacy

• Content that exposes another person's name, contact details, address, face or other personal information without consent
• Content that uses someone else's works, characters or trademarks without permission
• Images or audio that synthesize a real person's face or voice without consent

Illegal activity and fraud

• Content that promotes or facilitates gambling, illegal trade, financial fraud or phishing
• Malware, spam and unauthorized advertising
• False information presented as fact that harms elections or public safety

Service security

• Attempts to bypass AI safety rules through prompt manipulation, or to extract hidden instructions or other creators' private settings
• Accessing the Service or sending excessive requests through bots, crawlers, scrapers or other automated means
• Exploiting errors or vulnerabilities for improper gain. If you find a vulnerability, please report it to help@ypee.ai.

4. Content ratings

When publishing a work, you must choose a general or adult rating.

• General: Visible to all users. It must not include sexual content, violence, crime, drugs, excessive profanity or other sensitive material.
• Adult: Visible only to users who have completed adult verification and turned on adult content in their settings. It may cover mature themes such as intense romance or depictions of violence, but the prohibitions in section 3 still apply.
• Derivative works based on existing works may only be published with a general rating.
• If a rating does not match the actual content, we may change the rating or make the work private.

5. AI Output

• The same rules apply to AI responses.
• Deliberately steering the AI to produce prohibited content, or distributing such output, is a violation by the user.
• AI responses are fiction, not facts or professional advice. If a conversation feels uncomfortable or unsafe, stop at any time and report it.
• If you or someone else is at risk of harm, stop the conversation and contact local emergency services. In Korea, call 112 or 119, or the suicide prevention line 109. In the United States, call or text 988.

6. Reporting and blocking

• Use the report menu on works, series and comments to report violations. Works can be reported as harmful, malicious, poor conversation quality or other; series as harmful, malicious or other; comments as malicious, sexual, violent, misinformation or other.
• Our staff review reports directly. A report alone never triggers an automatic sanction.
• Blocking a work or creator hides it from discovery and conversation start screens, and deletes your own conversations with it. Unblocking does not restore deleted conversations.
• Repeated false reports may lead to restrictions on reporting.

7. Enforcement

Depending on the severity and whether a violation is repeated, we may take the following actions.

• Content: change the rating, make it private, or delete it
• Account: warning, restriction of features such as writing, publishing or commenting, suspension for a set period, or permanent suspension
• Benefits: recovery of improperly obtained rewards, Credits or earnings
• Reporting: referral to law enforcement and relevant authorities where a crime, such as child sexual exploitation, is suspected

We tell you the action and the reason. Where there is a serious risk of misuse, we may act without prior warning. If you disagree with an action, you may appeal to help@ypee.ai within 30 days of the notification, and we will tell you the result of our review.

8. Infringement reports

If your copyright, likeness, personal information or other rights have been infringed, email help@ypee.ai with:

• your name and contact details;
• the address or title of the infringing content;
• evidence that you hold the rights; and
• a description of the infringement and what you are requesting.

After review, we temporarily hide or delete the content and notify the poster. The poster may respond if they believe they have a legitimate right to the content.

9. Paid features

• Buying, selling or cashing out Credits or accounts outside the Service is prohibited.
• Misusing payments, such as using someone else's payment method or repeatedly requesting refunds and chargebacks, is prohibited.
• Gift and support features must not be used to pay for transactions made outside the Service.

10. Changes and contact

We announce changes to this policy in the Service at least 7 days before they take effect, or at least 30 days before for changes that are material or unfavorable to you. Contact us at help@ypee.ai.

If this English version conflicts with the Korean version, the Korean version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
